Drake von Aramov

The Commander of the Guard is a mysterious individual, hired by Lady Nevia to lead, train and outfit her small guard contingent. There are several strange rumors surrounding the Commander, most of which are likely perpetuated by one or two of his insubordinates, some of which may be true.

Tall and lean, dark, tanned, handsome. His eyes an impossibly pale green, almost like watered down jade. A scar runs from his eyebrow, bridges his nose and down onto his cheek, pink and thin, inflicted by something terribly sharp. He's built wide in the shoulders with a trim waste. More often than not, the Commander is seen wearing a black cloak, beneath a chainmail shirt with the hood piled around his neck. Dark leather pants and heavy boots, reinforced with steel toes. The only weapon he carries is a massive greatsword with a two and a half handed handle. The blade is far too heavy and thick for your average warrior, and it's a wonder how he wields it with such ease.

How he came to be hired here is a mystery to all but he and Nevia, though it's reasonably confirmed that he was once an army commander, and had left his position on his own accord. Others say he is a construct, pieced together by a madman and left in the dungeon of the Keep to be found by its heiress, and put to work. Of all the things said about him, no one seems to think he's just a simple warrior from another place.
